Design my Intent

You have all the space in the world to be who you are, to express what you feel, and to act as you will.

All the space in the world.

It’s just a matter of recognizing it, accepting it, and taking responsibility for the choices you make.

Embrace life. It’s yours and only you can decide how to live it.

In this moment, I choose how I will be.  I choose my responses, design my behavior and create my actions.

In this moment, the vastness of space is mine, and I am in the center.

Keep yourself safe, express your needs clearly, protect what you deem is love – no matter how hard someone pushes or pulls.

Be strong enough to say no.

And gentle enough to say yes.

I imagine a future, a vision, a sight.

And fill it with joy, peace and delight.

What are the quakes that sever the dots?

Greet the insecurity and loosen the knots.

If I don’t push so hard and hold on so tight

And trust that the Universe wont put up a fight,

I know not what is best, what is good and what is mine

For I know not all that is possible, the will of the Divine.

When I leave it Grace, to That, and to You

The mystery unfolds and blessings renew.

The essence of me

Today I met the essence of me, she smiled and told me to sit for a while. She appeared both familiar and strange in her demeanor, gentle yet ever so powerful.

I asked if we had met before, she nodded and her words were few.

“I am Love,” she said, “and I have been to the depths of darkness for you, to the dungeons, the cellars and deep underground.”

I shuddered and asked what it was that was there, “Memories, habits, beliefs and impressions – some decayed, others haunted, while many beautiful treasures too.”

“I have met the demons, the disbelief, the doubt, these shadows are all my friends.  We sat together and shared a laugh, then went our separate ways.”

What now, I asked, and where do you go, she smiled and said “Beyond”.

The Practice of Breathing 1

Breathe. Take from the Universe the strength to withstand, the courage to believe, and the faith to persevere.  Breathe. Exhale all fear, doubt, and mistrust. Breathe. Ease the contraction of the chest and allow the air to enter all the crevices.  Release the tension with the breath, unwrinkle the brow and straighten the spine to allow the blood to flow. Open up to receiving the nutrients from the blood and the benevolent energy from the Universe.

Exhale the black cloud of fear, making room for the bright shining warm glow.  Dip the forehead in remembrance.  Be humble, submit.   Greet the Divinity within and witness its Source.

Be mindful of the flow of energy as it circulates. In, out. Feel the energy in the extremities, the limbs, the core, the organs.  Feel it surge as it enters the heart. Witness the synergy of the parts, working together for a single purpose.  Welcome the healing energy and abundant grace.  Gaze out with loving eyes at the majestic beauty, balance and harmony of the perfectly aligned Universe.  And embrace dignified restraint.
